Season 8 of Museum Access proudly salutes America by exploring museums that capture the enduring spirit of our nation, from its Colonial roots to today’s innovators, designers and heroes. This season takes viewers on a journey through history and achievement, from the country’s first law school and 18th century court house to the evolution of flight, spanning early aviation to groundbreaking space exploration. Highlights include the majestic Ticonderoga steam boat, inspiring stories of Olympic champions, and a tribute to NASA legend Capt. James Lovell. Audiences will step inside a breathtaking Gilded Age mansion, experience the story of democracy at the Peoples House in Washington, DC and gain insight into the vital roles of firefighting and law enforcement. The season also offers a visit to the rural art studio of beloved American illustrator Norman Rockwell, celebrating the art and storytelling that have helped define the American experience. As always, we share behind-the-scenes visits and rare artifacts not on view so buckle up for yet another great season of adventures!
