Back after it’s two-year run as a pledge blockbuster with long “legs,” everyone’s favorite ADD program has been rested and is now ready to ring those phones once again.
Actor Patrick McKenna is after the truth. “Everything you think you know about ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) is wrong.”
In this uplifting and entertaining documentary he talks to researchers, specialists and doctors about ADD and ADHD. Interwoven with these insights, Patrick shares his own life story and his personal struggle with undiagnosed and untreated ADHD, and, now, his success in living with adult ADD.
Though the suffering is real, Patrick is interested in the good news. When ADD is diagnosed and treated, life can become very sweet. A liability can become an asset. As one expert explains, “This is not a diagnosis to fear. This is a diagnosis to understand and embrace.”
The program amuses and amazes us by actually presenting the facts – what is known for sure.
Patrick and director and co-host Rick Green lead viewers through a lively romp about the symptoms of adult ADD and the five keys to turning ADD from a hidden handicap that sabotages your life to an ally that allows you to soar. The production techniques are fantastic!

“ADHD? That’s just some new fad.” Uh, no. It’s not.
Did you know that a Doctor first described the symptoms of ADHD in the 1700s? Though the name of this ‘disorder’ has changed numerous times and our understanding has grown, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is still drenched in dangerous myths and ridiculous stigma.
Yes, undiagnosed and untreated ADHD can be life-threatening. However, if it’s understood and managed, it can become a part of who you are, perhaps even a strength.
Everyone has an opinion on ADHD. A few people actually have knowledge and information. After interviewing almost 100 researchers, doctors, authors, and educators, Rick Green shares some profound insights to guide you on your journey of discovery, recovery, and success.
Is ADHD a disorder? A syndrome? Can it be cured? Can it be managed? What works? What doesn’t? Is medication the answer? What about a holistic approach?
ADHD is very individual. It looks different in every person. So we each struggle with our own personal ‘flavor’ of challenges. But in these audio essays, Rick shares some universal truths that resonate for anyone who has, or lives with, ADHD.

It covers 155 beliefs, habits and behaviors of ADHD Adults and includes 23 strengths you may dismiss or overlook.
It’s funny, fast, upbeat, and full of info and tools you can use.

Then Doctor Umesh Jain, a psychiatrist specializing in ADHD, explains the neurology and psychology and reasons for this common belief, problem, misbehavior, challenge or potentially positive trait.
Then comedian Rick Green shows how this shows up in his life, by sharing something embarrassing, moving, awkward or bizarre. With humor.
Every page explores a different ‘problem’, a behavior or belief that is common amongst ADHD Adults. Prepare to be shocked at the number of times you think, “I do that! That’s because of my ADHD? What can I do about it?”

I’ll Have It My Way with Hattie Bryant
“The medicalization of American life from birth to death is killing our souls.”
– Hattie Bryant
As much as we all want to believe we can live forever, we all know deep down that it simply can’t be true.
From this program viewers learn that there are things each of us can do to live fully, all the way to the end. Anyone who is willing to take four simple steps now, while healthy, can minimize if not avoid entirely, the pain, suffering, confusion and disagreements that can arise when end-of-life healthcare wishes are not clearly spelled out.
Americans need this information because 70% say they want to die peacefully surrounded by friends and family … while actually 70% are dying in institutions surrounded by strangers.
Few people choose to contemplate critical illness or the inevitability of death until their time comes. Because possibilities are rarely discussed, many people are unprepared or unable to make critical end-of-life decisions and spend their last days in over-medicalized and unnecessarily painful and protracted situations.
Breaking through the taboo of discussing death, Hattie Bryant shows that we have choices.
