Program Info

Grease director Randal Kleiser was co-editor of his high school yearbook in 1964 and wrote about each of his classmates.

Inspired by Michael Apted’s 7 Up series, he returned to his High School to interview his classmates––by the position of their yearbook photos–in ten-year increments.

Baby Boomer Yearbook explores the typical High School archetypes; The Prom Queen, the Cheerleader, the Jock, the Nerd, the Class Clown, the Stud, and the Girl Next Door, based on his high school classmates and the characters from Grease.
